How Private Lender Reviews aligns product marketing with FTC truth-in-advertising standards, Endorsement Guides, and the Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule.

Last updated: August 12, 2026

We design marketing and on-site claims to align with FTC truth-in-advertising standards under the Federal Trade Commission Act (including Section 5’s ban on unfair or deceptive acts or practices). In practice that means:

  • claims we make about the Site should be truthful and not misleading;
  • material claims should be substantiated;
  • material connections (sponsorships, paid placement, affiliates) should be disclosed; and
  • consumer reviews and testimonials should follow applicable FTC guidance, including the Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) and the Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule (16 CFR Part 465).
